Dr. Copeland

Dr. Copeland leads individual adults, adolescents and couples in a moderate to long-term, intersubjective treatment, a highly effective approach that helps his patients gain insight, emotional awareness and the ability to resolve difficult and recurring issues.

Dr. Copeland helps his patients be more aware and better connected to how they are feeling, providing relief from anxiety, depression and shame. This approach, in addition to helping individuals better understand their needs and longings, also helps couples better understand the pervasive patterns that interfere with their ability to empathize and connect with each other.

In addition to his work with adults and adolescents, Dr. Copeland specializes in working with professional athletes, including competitive athletes, as well as those transitioning out of competition.
